Ayeza Khan took to Instagram to merrily share the news that she has finally been likened to a supermodel. Currently residing in London, the 34-year-old actor was asked a hilarious question about whether or not she knows she resembles a Pakistani supermodel - herself.

While mildly humoured by the person's inability to recognise her, the remark delighted Ayeza for a completely different reason. Responding with an enthusiastic "yes," she exclaimed, "That's the compliment I've been waiting to hear for ages while working as a model.

"PS, I love being called an actress. But this year, I want to be nominated as a supermodel - that's it!" announced Ayeza, before the punchline followed. "Just kidding. I know I can't even come close to the level of the biggest supermodels in our country. It's just a random thought."

Humble as ever, she used the opportunity to praise her friends in the industry who primarily work as models and have lent her a hand when she needed it. "I love the way you all always help me and teach me how to pose perfectly like a model, how you always hold my hand, and how you consistently make me feel special. It means the world to me," Ayeza wrote. "Thank you to all my model friends!"

While Ayeza might be modest about her skills, her passion for the craft shines impressively in the photoshoots she glams up for. That includes her birthday series, for which she donned western attire and muted makeup.

Aware of her undeniable talents, Ayeza's fans and peers were ever-present to lift her spirits in the comments section of her latest post. "You're a superstar, that's it!" complimented colleague Nadia Hussain Khan.

Joining the chorus of cheers, her followers eagerly maintained that the star is much more than a supermodel - a celebrity loved by all, a devoted mother and an admirable person on and off screen.
