Karachi police successfully reunited two missing children with their parents.

The children were reported missing in the Korangi area of Karachi, prompting a call to the Sindh Police Helpline, "Helpline 15."

A concerned citizen reported the children’s whereabouts, leading to an immediate response from the police.

The officers arrived promptly, taking the children into their care and beginning a search to locate their parents.

After gathering necessary details, the authorities traced the children's home address and returned them safely to their parents, who expressed their gratitude to the police for their efficient efforts.

This incident highlights the responsive and efficient work of Karachi police in ensuring the safety and timely return of missing children.

Earlier, a seven-year-old boy, Sarim, who had been missing from the Baitul Anam Apartments in North Karachi since January 7, was found dead in the underground water tank of the compound on Saturday.

Despite extensive search efforts by his family, police, and the Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC), including raids and the detention of a suspect, no clues were found regarding his whereabouts.

During the search, a fraudulent ransom demand was sent via WhatsApp, adding to the family's distress. Sarim’s body was discovered with multiple injury marks, suggesting torture.

The post-mortem confirmed injuries, and the exact cause of death is pending chemical analysis. The discovery shocked the community, with Sarim's parents deeply grieving.
