British officials set to audit CAA for flight restoration

KARACHI:

A team of British Transport Department will start an audit of Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) from Monday.

The British team will inspect the licensing, air worthiness, flight standard and other departments of the CAA. A team led by the CAA director general will brief the British officials. The audit will be held from January 27 to February 6. The satisfaction of the UK team will enhance the prospects of restoration of flight operation to the UK that has been suspended from 2020. Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority has completed the preparation for the audit. The CAA has advised its employees to remain present on Saturday during the audit.
