Pamela Anderson has had a remarkable journey in Hollywood, with a career spanning over three decades. However, her path to stardom was not without its challenges. In a recent interview, the actress spoke about the difficulties she faced during the making of her latest film, "The Last Showgirl."

"The Last Showgirl" is a drama that follows the story of Shelly, a Las Vegas performer who finds herself in economic uncertainty when her long-running casino show is axed. Anderson plays the lead role of Shelly, which she describes as a major step up for her as an actor.

"I couldn't have asked for a more challenging role," Anderson said. "Playing Shelly was a chance for me to tap into my own experiences and struggles, and to bring a level of vulnerability and authenticity to the character."

Despite her enthusiasm for the project, Anderson revealed that filming "The Last Showgirl" was not without its challenges. The actress has been open about her struggles with anxiety and depression, and she confessed that the pressure of working on a new film was overwhelming at times.

"There were moments when I felt like I was going to crack under the pressure," Anderson said. "But my director, Gia Coppola, was amazing, and she pushed me to give my best performance. I'm grateful for that."

One of the highlights of filming "The Last Showgirl" was the opportunity for Anderson to work with her co-star, Jamie Lee Curtis. The two actresses have a close bond, and they supported each other through the challenging times.

"Jamie is an incredibly talented actress, but she's also an amazing person," Anderson said. "We became close during filming, and I'm so grateful for our friendship."

While "The Last Showgirl" received critical acclaim, it was snubbed at the Oscars. Anderson's co-star, Jamie Lee Curtis, also wasn't recognized for her performance. Despite this, Anderson has expressed her gratitude for being recognized for her work.

"Not being nominated for an Oscar isn't a big deal to me," Anderson said. "What matters most is that I did my best work, and I'm proud of what I accomplished."

Anderson has several projects lined up for the future, including a starring role in the upcoming thriller "Rosebush Pruning" and a remake of the crime spoof comedy "The Naked Gun." Despite her busy schedule, the actress remains committed to her craft and is excited to take on new challenges.

"I'm just trying to enjoy the ride and be grateful for the opportunities I have," Anderson said. "I'm excited to see what the future holds, and I'm looking forward to continuing to grow and develop as an actor."
