Dini von Mueffling is drawing renewed attention after representing Australian entrepreneur Ben Pasternak amid his ongoing assault case involving influencer Evelyn Ha.

Von Mueffling, founder of Dini von Mueffling Communications, is a New York-based PR strategist known for handling high-profile and often sensitive cases.

Over the years, she has worked with clients navigating intense public scrutiny, including representing Kristin Cabot after the viral “Coldplay kiss cam” controversy as well as Virginia Guiffre a survivor of Jeffrey Epstein who later died by suicide. 

She has also represented prominent figures in serious legal and reputational crises, underscoring her focus on complex, media-heavy situations.

Von Mueffling is currently acting as a representative for Pasternak, who was arrested in New York and charged with assault and second-degree strangulation following an alleged incident on March 31, the same day his relationship with Ha reportedly ended.

Pasternak has pleaded not guilty to the charges. In a statement shared with media, von Mueffling said the allegations “mischaracterise what occurred” and added that an independent investigation suggests the claims are unwarranted.

The case has attracted widespread online attention, not only because of the severity of the allegations but also due to the public profiles of both Pasternak and Ha.

Ha, a popular content creator known for her Gen Z audience, has since confirmed the end of the relationship, stating she left after “serious boundaries were crossed” and is now focusing on her safety and well-being.

The situation has intensified after resurfaced videos from Ha’s past content circulated online, with some viewers interpreting them as potential warning signs in hindsight.

Beyond the criminal case, Pasternak is also facing additional scrutiny tied to his professional ventures, further amplifying attention around his conduct and public image.
