The girl who was allegedly kidnapped from Gulshan-e-Iqbal on January 17 was rescued by the police from Naushahro Feroze.
The police, however, said that the girl has stated that she had gone with the watchman of her own free will. The girl's mother had also expressed suspicion about her neighbour's security guard.
A case of alleged kidnapping of the girl was registered on the complaint of her mother. A special team was formed to search for 17-year-old Zahra Batool. The police team reached Naushahro Feroze on Saturday morning on information about the girl's presence there. The police found the girl, took her into custody and brought her back to Karachi.
Meanwhile a kidnapping case was heard before the Judicial Magistrate in Karachi, where a girl, who was allegedly kidnapped seven months ago, was presented by the police. The girl recorded a statement stating that she had gone with a person named Waleed of her free will and denied all allegations against him. She even requested the court to release Waleed. After considering the statements, the court ultimately disposed of the case.
