Trace Cyrus has publicly shared a heartfelt message addressing his father, Billy Ray Cyrus, expressing deep concern for his well-being.

In a poignant Instagram post on January 22, Trace, 35, posted a throwback photo of himself on stage with his father, offering his love and support amid what he suspects are personal struggles.

“Since my earliest memories, all I can remember is being obsessed with you and thinking you were the coolest person ever,” Trace wrote. “Sadly, the man I once idolized seems beaten down by the world, and it’s obvious to everyone but you.”

Trace, who is over a year and a half sober, also revealed that he and his sisters, including Noah Cyrus, are worried about their father’s distance and apparent challenges. He accused Billy Ray of pushing his family away, particularly noting his absence in Noah’s life.

“We are all holding on to memories of the man we once knew, hoping for his return,” Trace continued. “You’re not healthy, Dad, and everyone is noticing it.”

The emotional post comes after a turbulent year for Billy Ray, which included the finalization of his divorce from Firerose in August 2024 and leaked audio from a family dispute that fueled rumors of tension with daughter Miley Cyrus.

Trace concluded by extending an offer of help to his father, writing, “I don’t know what you’re struggling with exactly, but I’d love to help if you would open up. You know how to reach me.”

Billy Ray has yet to publicly respond to the emotional plea.
