On Monday January 20, President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration will be attended by several notable guests except for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. The Progressive Democratic Representative took to social media to respond to a question about her attendance at the event.
In a now-viral video on her Tiktok page, AOC repeats the query and before replying, “Congresswoman, are you going to the inauguration? Let me make myself clear. I don't celebrate rapists so, no, I'm not going".
@aoc Here’s why I won’t be attending the inauguration tomorrow.
