Four unclaimed bodies recovered from across city

The bodies of four unidentified citizens have been found from different places of the city.

Police have taken the bodies into custody and shifted to hospital.

A body of a 60-year-old man was found in a canal near Novelty Bridge on Samundari Road within the limits of D-Type Colony police station.

Passers-by saw the floating body and informed the police.

Police recovered the body from the canal and shifted it to the hospital and started searching for the heirs of the deceased. The body of a young man was found in a sack near truck stand within the limits of Saddar police station. Police have taken the body into custody and shifted it to the hospital.

A 60-year-old unidentified man was found near the Khidmat Markaz within the limits of City Jaranwala police station, while the body of an unidentified man was found near the Imambargah waiting area within the limits of Madina Town police station on Jaranwala Road, which the police have taken into custody and shifted it to the hospital.

Meanwhile, the Kotwali police have registered a case against the lawyers and unknown persons who fired in the air at the District Bar elections and started searching for them. According to the police report, ASI Shabbir Khan posted at the Kotwali police station filed a case which stated that unidentified lawyers and unidentified suspects were firing in the air while displaying weapons in the District Court, in front of the District Bar, in front of Iftikhar Law Chamber, in front of Sufi Barkat Ali Law Chamber and on the roof, in front of Jinnah Hall, in front of Sufi Barkat Ali Law Chamber and Tanveer Andhawa Building and on other roofs. When they tried to catch them, they managed to escape taking advantage of the darkness.
