Child loses eye due to teacher's beating

NAWABSHAH:

A first-grade student of a government school lost one eye as a result of alleged severe beating by a teacher.

According to details, Zakir, a first-grade student studying in a school in Mehran Colony area of ??Nawabshah, was tortured by the school teacher.

The victim child's uncle Naushad reached the Nawabshah Press Club and protested against the teacher.

The affected student told the media that he went to school in the morning and was playing with his classmate, when his teacher Abid Zardari made him stand up and started beating with kicks and fists, due to which his right eye was affected.

The student's uncle Naushad said that incidents of violence against children are increasing in government schools, while the silence of education department raises many questions.
