Top cop reviews security for Chinese workers

Hazara Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Nasir Mahmood Satti recently paid a visit to Tarbela Ghazi Tunnel V to review the security measures. He met with Chinese representatives and security officers, asking them to directly contact him in case of any security concerns.

Satti further directed police officers to boost the security of Chinese workers and ensure weekly meetings with project officials.

The DIG, who was accompanied by Haripur District Police Officer (DPO) Farhan Khan, visited the project site and held discussions with Chinese officials and senior security personnel on critical matters related to security and development.

On this occasion, Chief Engineer/Project Director Waseem Raza provided a comprehensive briefing on the project's security and progress. The DIG assured the Chinese officials of full cooperation from the police and addressed any challenges related to their security.

He said that all necessary measures are being taken to ensure the safety of Chinese and other foreign personnel.
