Lift fall kills worker

A tragic accident occurred at the Adiala Jail colony during construction work, where a lift fell, resulting in the death of one worker and severe injuries to two others.

Following the incident, work at the site was halted. Sources at the jail reported that the workers were using a temporary lift to transport construction materials to the roof of the under-construction building when the lift suddenly collapsed.

As a result, Ghulam Mustafa, 30, was killed on the spot, while two other workers sustained severe injuries. Rescue 1122 teams were immediately called to the scene, and the deceased worker's body, along with the two injured workers, was transferred to the District Headquarters Hospital.

The police from the Saddar Beruni station confirmed that a report has been filed.
