Nikki Glaser, the host of the 2025 Golden Globes, held back some of her most savage jokes during the live broadcast, but during her January 6 appearance on The Howard Stern Show, the comedian unleashed all the biting humor that didn’t make the cut.

One of the jokes involved Glen Powell who was nominated in the Lead Actor category for Hit Man. “Glen Powell is nominated for Hit Man. Who would’ve thought that by the end of the year, you’d only be the second hottest hit man in America". Capitalzing on the hype created around Luigi Mangione who was arrested in relation to the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, Glaser devised this joke that was ultimately cut as "it took a while for people to get it".

Her original joke about  Adrien Brody who was nominated for Best Male Actor - Motion Picture went even deeper than the one she cracked on stage: “If Adrien Brody could go back in time, he would thank baby Hitler for his career.” She explained that generational gaps in sense of humor and the joke not landing with a large number of audience played a role in shelving it.

Glaser revelations on the Howard Stern show make it evident that barely anyone or anything escaped her radar. Her other targets included Anora, Wicked, and Only Murders in the Building as well as celebrities and controversies involving Diddy, Ben Affleck and Denzel Washington.

Gaining praise from critics and audience for her humor, most of Nikki Glaser's quips had to be watered-down leaving fans wondering what the reaction might have been like if she had actually delivered them as they were.

Squid Games is a show where people starve themselves while ruthlessly competing for the ultimate prize. Oh, wait—no, that’s this show".
