Katherine LaNasa jokes husband Grant Show is 'too handsome' to join 'The Pitt'
“Maybe he can play some d--- surgeon or something," the actor who plays Charge Nurse Dana said

Katherine LaNasa is revealing the humourous reason why her husband, Grant Show, won’t be appearing on The Pitt.
Speaking to People at the show’s Season 2 premiere in Los Angeles, LaNasa — who plays nurse Dana Evans, joked, “He’s too handsome for the show.”
She added with a laugh that he might only fit in under very specific circumstances, saying, “Maybe he can play some d--- surgeon or something.”
Despite the playful comment, LaNasa and Show have a long-standing personal and professional connection. The couple first met in 2006 while working on Big Love and later collaborated on multiple projects before marrying in 2012.
Reflecting on their relationship, LaNasa admitted she initially had reservations about Show, recalling, “He was still kind of a wild man when I met him… I was like, ‘I’m not quite sure about this guy.’”
However, she said he ultimately won her over, adding that he is now “a great guy and great husband, great dad.”
The couple share a daughter, Eloise, and LaNasa is also mother to a son, Henry, from her previous marriage to actor Dennis Hopper.
LaNasa also previously joked about the secret to their long-lasting marriage, saying, “Our key to staying married? … Not getting divorced,” a sentiment Show echoed by adding, “Not breaking up.”
While several cast members’ real-life partners have made guest appearances in Season 2 of The Pitt, it seems Show’s good looks might keep him off-screen, at least for now.
