In Attock, a fast-moving bus travelling from Bahawalpur to Islamabad overturned near Fateh Jang on the CPEC route due to driver negligence. The accident left 10 fatalities and 22 injuries in its wake.

Upon receiving the distress call, Rescue 1122 and motorway police officers arrived quickly. The bodies and injured were transported to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Fateh Jang.

In an other incident near Sindh's Moro, seven people, including four children, died and up to 15 were injured when a van collided with a truck near the town of Naushahro Feroze.

According to police, the families were returning from a wedding in Hyderabad when the accident occurred, caused by thick fog on the bypass road.
