CM Maryam welcomes development roadmap

Stresses social uplift with economic stabilisation.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has paid tribute to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his team for presenting a roadmap for sustainable development of the country titled 'Uran Pakistan'.

"According to the vision of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Pakistan is on the path of economic development," she asserted in a statement.

She said the prime minister and his team were working for the economic stability of the country and its people.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said, "The Five-E vision consisting of exports, environment, e-governance, energy and equity is commendable."

She said the economy was stabilising and attention should be paid to social development.

The chief minister said, "The nation will no longer tolerate those who stand in the way of their development."

She stressed the need to exploit Pakistan's population potential and better utilise the available resources.

She underscored, "Those who hinder Pakistan's progress are actually enemies of the people."

Chief Minister Mariam Nawaz also congratulated the nation on the beginning of new year.

In a message, she stated, "I pray that the new year bring happiness and prosperity for the people of Pakistan."

She added, "We will carry forward the mission of serving, protecting and developing the motherland."

She added, "I pray this year be the year of ending poverty, destitution, terrorism, extremism and crime from the beloved homeland."

She said, "We introduced historic projects in 2024 in every sector, including education, agriculture, energy and health. Now we will move forward to implement them."

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz saluted every soldier and officer who attained martyrdom in the war against terrorists in 2024.

She prayed, "May 2025 be the year of freedom for Kashmir and Palestine."
