Imran faces 59 'May 9' cases in Punjab

The Punjab police have shown Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan's arrest in 26 cases related to May 9 violent incidents.

According to a report submitted in the Lahore High Court (LHC), as many as 59 cases related to May 9 incidents were registered against the PTI founder.

He was granted bail-after-arrest in 18 cases while he was exonerated in two cases.

The report further stated that Imran Khan was directly nominated in 21 FIRs while he was implicated in 38 cases after a supplementary statement.

The report mentioned that investigation had not been completed in 9 cases.
