Joe Manganiello’s birthday cakes this year came with a familiar twist, as his girlfriend, Caitlin O'Connor, ordered two custom cakes from Cake and Art, a bakery in West Hollywood that is a frequent spot for his ex-wife, Sofía Vergara.
According to TMZ, Caitlin spent $400 on the cakes, which featured unique designs and flavors. One was a 3D Steelers helmet made from chocolate cake with mocha filling, while the other was a funfetti vanilla cake with lemon filling, shaped like a jersey and personalized with "Manganiello" on the back.
The Steelers-themed cake was a perfect fit, as Joe is from Pittsburgh. While Caitlin’s gesture seemed to reflect Sofía’s own love for the bakery, sources told TMZ that Caitlin was aware of a photo of Sofía with her son, Manolo Gonzalez Vergara, displayed prominently in the shop. Despite the connection, staff at the bakery handled the situation with professionalism, and Caitlin smiled while picking up the cakes.
Since going public with their relationship in December 2023, Joe and Caitlin have been inseparable, even recently vacationing together with Joe’s dog in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
