Diplo, the renowned DJ and producer, made a surprising confession during CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live hosted by Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper. While chatting with the co-hosts, Diplo admitted to being on LSD during the live broadcast.
When Cohen asked Diplo about the "most conventional place" he had ever taken LSD, the DJ replied with a laugh, “Right now. On the helicopter, on my way here.” Though he was smiling, Diplo quickly clarified, “I’m not even lying.”
The revelation left Anderson Cooper laughing uncontrollably, while a stunned Cohen pressed further, asking, “You’re tripping right now?” Diplo nonchalantly responded, “Yeah, but it’s like a light trip,” adding that he was “microdosing” but may have “macrodosed” earlier in the day.
The unexpected confession led to a humorous exchange between the co-hosts.
Despite the on-air admission, Diplo later took the stage for a New Year’s Eve performance at Avalon Hollywood in Los Angeles, showing no signs of slowing down.
