Man helps kidnap, torture wife for demanding divorce

A man kidnapped his wife with the help of a landlord after she demanded a divorce. He tied her up with ropes in the landlord's camp.

The police took action and released the woman and registered a case against the five accused and started searching for them. Farwa Bibi, daughter of Haji Riaz, a resident of Darbar Mai Mastani Makwana filed an FIR in the Saddar Faisalabad police station which stated that she was married to Shams, son of Pannu Malang, who was an employee of Allah Yar.

She asked for a divorce from her husband but he did not divorce her.

On the day of the incident she was going to work in 228 RB, when her husband Shams along with landlord Allah Yar, Saqlain son of Jahangir and others kidnapped her and took her to the courtyard of the landlord Alam Sher and forcibly tied her up and made her a target of violence.

The accused Alam Sher, Saqlain and other kept taking out weapons and threatening to kill her. During this time, a passerby informed Rescue 15 about her being held captive.

The police personnel who reached the spot got the victim woman released and registered a case under 342-506B-148-149 TPP and started searching for them.

Meanwhile, a minor was molested while a domestic worker foiled the rape attempt. The police have started searching for the accused after registering the cases.

According to the police report, a 12-year-old was doing domestic work in the house of accused Haji Mehmood in the Liaquat Town area of Jhang Bazar police station. The accused lured him and tried to make him a target for his sexual desires.

The accused cried for help and managed to escape. The Jhang Bazar police have registered a case and started searching for the accused.
