Dayle Haddon, former supermodel, actress, and humanitarian, passed away Friday at the age of 76 after a suspected carbon monoxide leak in a home in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

Local police from Solebury Township began investigating the property at 6:30 a.m. after receiving a 911 call. The caller reported a 76-year-old man found unconscious on the first floor of a detached in-law suite.

The man was later transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey, though his condition was not disclosed. A second victim, a woman, was found dead in the suite’s second-floor bedroom, later confirmed to be Haddon.

Bucks County Deputy Coroner Eliot Gross confirmed Haddon’s identity and stated that toxicology reports would be conducted to determine the cause of death. Volunteers at the scene detected a high level of carbon monoxide, leading to the hospitalization of two medics for exposure and the treatment of another on-site.

The property belongs to Haddon's daughter, former journalist Ryan Haddon, and her husband, actor Marc Blucas.

Born in Canada, Haddon was a top model in the 1970s and appeared on the cover of the 1973 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. She also had notable acting roles in 'The World's Greatest Athlete' (1973) and 'North Dallas Forty' (1979).

Haddon was a spokesperson for L'Oréal and authored ‘Ageless Beauty: A Woman's Guide to Lifelong Beauty and Well-Being’. Additionally, she worked as a UNICEF ambassador and founded WomenOne, a charity supporting girls' education.
