Tina Knowles is not holding back against critics of her daughter Beyoncé’s show-stopping Christmas Day halftime performance. The multi-Grammy-winning artist delivered a dazzling spectacle at the Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens NFL game, yet some online trolls took to social media to critique the performance.
In an Instagram post, Knowles shared her thoughts, calling it “mind-boggling” that critics would spend their Christmas watching someone they claim to dislike.
“Obviously you are so obsessed with them, addicted to them, and secretly admire them, wish you could be them, that you cannot help but to watch and critique and comment and say dumb ridiculous stuff that makes you look like a joke!!” Knowles wrote.
She urged detractors to focus their energy elsewhere, suggesting they watch “goofy cartoons or Bozo the clown” instead of her daughter’s performance.
Tina Knowles also praised Beyoncé’s resilience and warrior spirit, quoting scripture: “No weapon formed against me shall prosper.”
