Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while very cold conditions will prevail in hilly areas during morning and night hours over the next twelve hours, Radio Pakistan reported on Friday.

Light rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Northeast Punjab, Upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Murree, Galliyat, and adjoining hilly areas.

Smog or moderate to dense fog in patches is likely to persist in most plain areas of Punjab, K-P, and Upper Sindh during morning and night hours.
