The viral YouTube series Skibidi Toilet is officially entering Fortnite, with skins and accessories set to drop on December 18, 2024.

Epic Games confirmed the collaboration on X (formerly Twitter) with emojis of a toilet, plunger, and video camera, sparking surprise and disbelief among Fortnite fans. The crossover marks another milestone in Fortnite’s role as a digital multiverse for pop culture icons.

The Skibidi Toilet skin includes a Plungerman outfit, a Skibidi Toilet-themed backpack, and a Plungerman Plunger pickaxe. Rumors first emerged from Fortnite leaker SpushFNBR, before Epic Games teased the confirmation.

Created by Georgian animator Alexey Gerasimov, Skibidi Toilet became a cultural phenomenon through its bizarre storyline featuring grotesque, singing toilet people battling mechanical men with camera heads. The series, launched on Gerasimov’s YouTube channel DaFuq!?Boom!, gained widespread popularity due to its absurd humor, fan animations, and meme culture.

Fans expressed mixed reactions to the collaboration, with some celebrating the crossover and others criticizing it as another instance of internet “brainrot” infiltrating mainstream gaming. Additionally, concerns arose regarding licensing, as Skibidi Toilet was originally created using Valve’s Source Filmmaker assets from games like Half-Life.

Despite the backlash, the Skibidi Toilet franchise continues to expand. A cinematic adaptation is reportedly in development, with Michael Bay and former Paramount president Adam Goodman attached, positioning Skibidi Toilet as a potential blockbuster universe akin to Transformers.
