The National Assembly of Pakistan paid tribute to the martyrs of the APS tragedy with a prayer for their souls and unanimously passed a resolution to honour them.
According to Express News, the resolution was presented by Shazia Marri, member of the Pakistan Peoples Party, during the National Assembly session on Monday.
The resolution stateed that this house acknowledges the sacrifice of the APS martyrs, noting that the loss of these children united the entire nation to fight against terrorism.
The resolution further affirmed that the government of Pakistan, along with the Assembly and the masses, reiterates its commitment to not tolerate terrorism under any circumstances. It also paid tribute to the sacrifices made by the forces in the fight against terrorism.
The resolution concluded by reaffirming the House's pledge to rid Pakistan completely of terrorism.
