Pak envoy calls upon US foreign affairs panel head

Pakistan's Ambassador to the US Rizwan Saeed Sheikh met Congressman Brian Mast, the new chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

Brian Mast of Florida, an army veteran, was voted as the head of House Foreign Affairs Committee on Monday by the House Republican Steering Committee.

In his tweet, Ambassador Rizwan Saeed wrote, "We had an optimistic discussion on strengthening bilateral ties through deeper economic engagement. Explored prospects and avenues of furthering Pak-US cooperation."
