Mock tsunami exercise conducted

Pakistan Meteorological Department, Karachi, conducted a mock drill for a 9.2 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale near Sumatra in Indonesia and the subsequent tsunami it is likely to cause.

The Meteorological Department conducted the mock exercise at the Karachi Seismic Center, during which information was exchanged with other countries through mutual communication after the mock earthquake.
