Anok's rise in the fashion world has been nothing short of meteoric, making her one of the most recognized faces in modeling today.

Anok, born on December 20, 1997, in Cairo, Egypt, relocated with her family to Manchester, New Hampshire, when she was just three years old. 

Her family has been a significant part of her life, with her sister, Alim, serving as her manager and financial consultant, and her parents working in healthcare and social services.

Before entering the fashion industry, Anok was focused on a career in medicine. 

She attended Plymouth State University to study biochemistry, hoping to become a doctor after graduating from Manchester High School West. 

However, her fate took a different turn when she was discovered by photographer Steve Hall during Howard University’s homecoming in 2017. 

A photo of Anok quickly went viral after Hall posted it on Instagram, and it wasn’t long before IMG Models reached out.

Her breakthrough moment came when she opened a Prada fashion show, becoming the first Sudanese model to do so since Naomi Campbell in 1997. 

Since then, Anok has gone on to work with major brands like Nike and featured in international magazines, including Vogue and i-D.
