MQM-P pushed city of lights into terrorism: Ghani

inister for Local Government, Saeed Ghani said on Thursday that Muttahia Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P), which pushed the peaceful and enlightened city of Karachi into terrorism, has no moral ground to speak about the city's issues.

People of Karachi have buried the politics of hatred of MQM-P.

"Now MQM-P is a dead political horse," Ghani said.

In a statement issued on Thursday.Provincial Minister Saeed Ghani said that the MQM-P is responsible for the destruction of Karachi's institutions. It has a terrible role behind the destruction of all institutions including the Water Board, KMC, KDA, MDA. Ghani said that the real situation at present is that the MQM-P is suffering from severe internal chaos and it has been completely taken over by the Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP). Ghani questioned the MQM to tell why it chose to flee from the local body elections? He said that the Pakistan People's Party is a popular political party in Karachi. The PPP has made its place in the city of lights through public service and we are busy solving their problems without any discrimination and favourtism.

Ghani claimed that the MQM-P, which is engaged in the politics of accusations, will not even get candidates from Karachi in the upcoming elections.
