A man caused a security scare during a film shoot of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in Mumbai on Tuesday.

The individual, claiming to be a fan of the actor, illegally entered the shooting location and was noticed by the crew.

When confronted, he reportedly threatened the actor by saying, "Bishnoi ko bulaun kya?" (Should I call Lawrence Bishnoi?).

The man’s comment immediately raised alarm, as Salman Khan has been the target of multiple threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang in recent months.

Following a brief altercation with security personnel, the man was detained and handed over to the local police at Shivaji Park Police Station for questioning.

According to the police, the man admitted to being a fan of Salman Khan and expressed his desire to watch the shoot.

However, after being denied entry, the situation escalated, and he invoked the name of Lawrence Bishnoi, who has vowed to take revenge on Salman Khan for an incident dating back to 1998.

The actor has faced numerous threats from the Bishnoi gang, stemming from his alleged involvement in poaching blackbucks, a species sacred to the Bishnoi community. The most recent threats have included demands for large sums of money, with some callers claiming to be associated with Bishnoi.

In light of these increasing threats, Salman Khan has been provided with enhanced security, including Y+ protection, and police presence around his residence. Authorities are investigating the man’s background but have not found any immediate cause for concern.

Khan’s shooting schedule for his upcoming film Sikandar was briefly interrupted, but he remains committed to his work despite the ongoing security threats. The actor is also hosting Bigg Boss 18, a popular television reality show, amid his packed agenda.

A week ago explosions outside two clubs in Chandigarh, including one owned by rapper Badshah, were allegedly carried out by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang after failed extortion attempts, according to a social media post by Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar.

Previously Anmol Bishnoi, the younger brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, was detained in California, United States, following weeks of legal proceedings initiated by the Mumbai Police’s Crime Branch, seeking his extradition to India.
