In a gruesome turn of events, police have retrieved additional body parts of 28-year-old Kulsoom, who was brutally murdered in Khamosh Colony. The latest discovery was made on Tuesday in the Lyari River under the Lasbela Bridge, where a black shopper containing human remains was found.
Previous discoveries included the victim's head which was found in a drain in the Pirabad police station area on Saturday. While an arm and a leg were recovered from a garbage dump near a cemetery of the same area on Monday.
The killer's brutality is evident in the deliberate desecration of the victim's body, with parts discarded in various locations.
Regarding the recent discovery from Lyari River, Gulbahar police station SHO Nadeem Ahmed said that the human organs found included half an arm, a leg and part of the torso, along with other pieces of flesh, which may belong to the same woman. However, the police have taken the body parts into custody for legal proceedings and shifted them to the mortuary. The forensic reports are yet to come.
It should be noted that Kulsoom had gone missing on Friday night, leaving her home at 10 pm and the woman was identified by her husband Hanif who was shown the head kept in cold storage on Monday.
