Liam Payne’s missing $38,000 Rolex was promised to two escorts he spent time with prior to his death. Surveillance footage from the day of Liam’s death showed the Rolex on his wrist just hours before his fatal fall, but authorities confirmed that he wasn’t wearing it when he fell from the balcony, nor was it taken after his fall.

As reported by the Argentinian news outlet Infobae, one of the escorts claimed she forgot her makeup and was granted permission to enter Liam’s third-floor room at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires to retrieve it. Sources close to the investigation of the former One Direction member’s death suggested that this was when the Rolex vanished.

The escort claimed that she and another woman were promised $6,300 by Liam Payne but did not receive the full payment. The escorts also told prosecutors that Liam knelt before them, saying, "I love you, I love you," and allegedly promised them his Rolex watch.

The report indicated that Roger Nores, the singer’s former manager, attempted to "resolve the situation." Liam was found dead 40 minutes later, having fallen three floors from the balcony of his hotel room.

Liam Payne, a former member of One Direction, died on October 16, 2024, after falling from the balcony of his hotel room in Buenos Aires. His body was released to his family on November 6, 2024, after completing lab tests and toxicology reports for further investigation.
