MrBeast adds IShowSpeed to exclusive group chat with Cristiano Ronaldo

The 19-year-old YouTuber, a long-time admirer of the Portuguese football legend, finally connects with Ronaldo.

On December 3, 2024, a long-awaited moment unfolded for YouTuber and streamer IShowSpeed, as he was added to a group chat with his idol, football legend Cristiano Ronaldo, by none other than MrBeast. 

The 19-year-old content creator, who has been vocal about his admiration for the Portuguese footballer, had spent years trying to connect with him. 

During a recent livestream, IShowSpeed confronted MrBeast about not being included in a previous collaboration involving Ronaldo. 

After some lighthearted back-and-forth, MrBeast decided to make the dream come true and added him to the chat—on the condition that he wouldn’t "say anything too weird."

MrBeast, always one to hype up his friends, introduced IShowSpeed to the group by saying, "Ronaldo, this is Speed, the biggest streamer in the world, he wanted to say hi."

IShowSpeed, known for his boisterous online persona, was overjoyed by the opportunity to chat with Ronaldo, and his first message was full of excitement and respect. 

He wrote: "Hey Ronaldo, it’s Speed we met about last year I just wanted to say hi, and hopefully we can meet again soon, cheers."

During his stream, IShowSpeed also shared his extravagant CR7-themed room, which features a giant CR7 logo on the wall and a signed Portugal jersey, all part of his impressive $100K setup dedicated to his football hero.
