‘Arcane’ actor Jason Spisak faces grooming allegations
Jason Spisak, the voice actor behind the villainous Silco in Netflix’s 'Arcane', has found himself at the center of a controversy following resurfaced allegations.
The 51-year-old actor, who voiced the character in both seasons of the hit animated series, has been accused of grooming an underaged fan.
The controversy began with a TikTok video (which has since been deleted) calling Spisak a “creep.” The video gained traction on social media, particularly on X (formerly Twitter), where screenshots of the post were shared widely.
The original allegations date back to 2022 and were based on a social media post by a user named IAmTheTruth, who shared screenshots claiming that Spisak had engaged in private conversations with a fan via WhatsApp.
According to the post, the two eventually dated. However, it was later revealed that the fan was of legal age, 22 at the time, which debunked the grooming accusations. Despite this, Spisak faced heavy criticism, with some fans pointing to the age gap and the power dynamic given his celebrity status.
The allegations continue to circulate, with some claiming that Spisak had a history of reaching out to young female fans, particularly within the 'Arcane' and 'League of Legends' cosplay communities.
While some defend Spisak, arguing the relationship was between two consenting adults, the controversy has sparked a broader discussion about boundaries and power imbalances in fan-actor interactions.
