Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday directed authorities to ensure third-party validation, including quality assurance, in all government procurements.
Chairing a meeting on good governance and public procurements, the prime minister emphasized reforms in the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) to eliminate external influence.
"Transparent procurement in government institutions is a top priority," he stated, highlighting its role in building foreign investors' confidence in Pakistan. He directed the formation of an independent committee to address procurement-related complaints.
