Clean Energy: Mini power plants to be set up in Sialkot
On Monday that Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani had approved the establishment of mini power plants in the Sialkot.

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said on Monday that Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani had approved the establishment of mini power plants in the Sialkot district to give maximum relief to the business community. Talking to different traders’ delegations, Awan said that the federal government would soon start a project in the district to produce electricity from garbage and waste materials to overcome the power shortage. Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) President Ghulam Mustafa Chaudhry and Sialkot International Airport Limited (SIAL) Chairman Syed Mukhtar Hussain were also present on the occasion.
