Qureshi calls for grand alliance
PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi has called upon his party's leadership to forge a grand alliance with like-minded political forces based on mutual agreement.
He also urged PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari to convene his party's Central Executive Committee (CEC) and decide its stance on supporting democratic principles, rather than merely criticising the PML-N for non-cooperation.
Speaking to The Express Tribune on the premises of the anti-terrorism court in Rawalpindi following a hearing, the seasoned PTI leader also commended the perseverance of Imran's wife, Bushra Bibi and sister Aleema Khan as well as Uzma Khan during challenging times in detention.
