Women share dark 'poisoning men' videos in viral 'MATGA' movement amid Trump abortion concerns
Women online have started creating dark, murder-themed videos where they portray poisoning men’s drinks as a justified response to concerns over abortion rights under a potential second Trump presidency.
Many of these videos have amassed millions of views on platforms like X and TikTok, featuring young women grinning wickedly as they add unknown substances to a cup of tea or another beverage.
HOLY SH*T, Karens lost their fvcking minds over Trump’s win and launched MATGA—short for Make Aqua Tofana Great Again.

Tofana was a 17th-century Italian woman who sold poison to wives seeking to eliminate abusive husbands, reportedly resulting in the deaths of over 600 men.
Her infamous concoction, “Aqua Tofana,” was a blend of lethal ingredients like arsenic and belladonna, stored in cosmetic bottles, making it undetectable and ensuring the victim remained unaware until it was too late.
In one clip, a young woman with green hair, a backward camo hat, and a large spiked septum ring is seen with the text “Aqua Tofana isn’t that hard to make” displayed over footage of her making a throat-slitting gesture.
Many of these videos use a section of Eminem’s song “Venom” in the background, playing the lyrics, “This f–king world better prepare to get laced because they’re gonna taste my venom.”
Some women don’t mention Aqua Tofana explicitly but instead flaunt “poison rings,” jewelry with hidden compartments supposedly meant to carry a lethal dose of poison.
“My advice for American women,” reads the text in one video of a woman standing before a full-length mirror.
“I know you will understand this. They asked for it,” the text continues as she opens her poison ring and offers the camera a menacing smile.
