Yellowstone returns after two years: Final episodes premiere amid Kevin Costner’s dramatic exit
After nearly two years and considerable behind-the-scenes controversy, Yellowstone is returning for what may be its final batch of episodes.
Since the last episode of this popular neo-western aired, lead actor Kevin Costner faced personal challenges, including his wife’s unexpected filing for divorce. He later mentioned that he wouldn’t be able to manage significant child support payments without his Yellowstone income, even after confirming his exit from the show to focus on his own western film series, Horizon: An American Saga.
Production continued, moving forward with the final six episodes of what is likely the fifth and last season of the show.
Streaming Yellowstone live can be notoriously challenging, especially if viewers want to catch it as it airs. Fortunately, all the details you need are available to help you tune in on Sunday night.
Yellowstone finally returns tonight, November 10, at 8:00 p.m. ET, with new episodes airing every Sunday at the same time through December 15.
If you have cable, you’ll be able to watch Yellowstone on Paramount Network.
Additionally, the Season 5B premiere will air on CBS on November 10 at 10:00 p.m. ET.
The conclusion of the first half of Season Five ended with intense moments as Beth Dutton and her brother Jamie vowed to end their feud with one of them dead.
With John Dutton’s departure from the series expected, will it truly be one of his children who face life-threatening risks in the upcoming episodes?
An earlier report from Showbiz 411 this year suggested otherwise.
The article claimed that Costner’s character, John, is set to “meet a similar fate” to Brian Cox’s Logan Roy in HBO’s Succession, who was unexpectedly killed in the third episode of its final season.
Despite the ongoing rumors, show creators Taylor Sheridan and John Linson have taken extensive precautions to prevent any spoilers that could reveal the fate of Costner’s character or other season 5B events.
