This achievement makes her the top-nominated artist at the 2025 Grammys, surpassing her previous personal record of 10 nominations set in 2009. Her total Grammy nominations now stand at 99.
As word of the 43-year-old pop star's nomination count spread, fans quickly responded online. One Instagram commenter said, "This makes no sense to me. She didn't make no noise all year for real." Many expressed surprise and confusion over Beyoncé’s 11 nominations, with one user even calling the Grammy Awards "played out."

The Grammy announcement on Friday brings Beyoncé's total nominations to 99, securing her place as the most-nominated artist in Grammy history. With 32 Grammy wins, she also holds the record for the most Grammy Awards ever won by an artist.
Trailing close behind Beyoncé with seven nominations each are Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, and Charli XCX. Following them with six nominations each are Taylor Swift, Chappell Roan, and Sabrina Carpenter.
Women are a dominant presence at the 67th Grammy Awards, with five female artists—Beyoncé, Swift, Eilish, Roan, and Carpenter—nominated in all three major general categories: record, song, and album of the year.
Roan and Carpenter also received nominations for best new artist, alongside Benson Boone, Doechii, Khruangbin, Raye, Shaboozey, and Teddy Swims.
The album of the year category includes Carpenter's Short n' Sweet, Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter, Charli XCX's Brat, Swift's The Tortured Poets Department, and Roan's The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess. Other contenders in this category are André 3000's New Blue Sun, Jacob Collier's Djesse Vol. 4, and Billie Eilish's Hit Me Hard and Soft.
