Authorities have placed names of 23 people, mostly PTI leaders and supporters, in the country's passport control list (PCL) for the alleged involvement in an attack on the vehicle of the former chief justice of Pakistan, Qazi Faez Isa, in London in October.
According to sources, the authorities have also suspended passports of the individuals while also writing letters to the British government, requesting their repatriation.
On October 30, alleged PTI supporters in London tried to stop a car carrying Qazi Faez Isa. They kicked the vehicle while some of them also made obscene gestures to him.
Soon after the incident, Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi ordered the NADRA to identify the assailants through video footage.
