Love is Blind fans slam Hannah Jiles for 'no growth' in season 7 reunion: "STILL A BULLYYYYYYY!"
The 'Love is Blind' season 7 reunion, released on October 30, brought the couples from the season together for updates and reflections. Hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey addressed the online criticism directed at Hannah Jiles, who defended her actions by saying her "direct" approach sometimes required softening.
Fans of 'Love is Blind' took to X to call out Hannah for not acknowledging her mistakes. Many pointed out that although Hannah claimed to have matured, they felt she hadn't truly grown if she couldn't recognize her own faults.
"1 year later and HANNAH IS STILL A BULLYYYYYYY!!!!!" said one fan.
"Hannah taking no accountability during the reunion is absolutely no self-awareness," added another fan.
"Hannah still has the self-awareness of a rock I see," remarked a third fan.
"Hannah having a 'big personality' and being 'direct' doesn't give her an excuse to be rude. There's a difference between honesty and cruelty," wrote another viewer.
Some fans mentioned that although Hannah said she still had growth to do, they felt she lacked self-awareness.
"Hannah had a lot of room to grow… but came to the reunion & hasn’t shown any growth," wrote an X user.
"Hannah said she worked on herself but is doubling down that her only issue is her delivery. Not the constant belittling and emasculation. That’s not being 'direct.' Didn’t learn a damn thing," wrote another user.
"The fact that Hannah is sitting on this stage & double downing on all the evil sh*t she said to Nick is wildddd. She’s the worst," a commentator observed.
"Being direct does not mean you have to be rude, disrespectful or cruel Hannah," another added.
Host Nick Lachey asked Hannah if, looking back, she would have reacted differently to the "duck" incident. He was referring to the argument between Nick Dorka and Hannah in episode 5, which started after Nick rode a faux duck at the beach. Fans criticized Hannah for her response, thinking it was fine for Nick to be lighthearted and playful.
