After a recent interview with Donald Trump, Joe Rogan expressed interest in hosting Vice President Kamala Harris on his podcast, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience.’ Rogan, however, stipulated that the interview should be conducted in his Austin, Texas, studio and extend beyond one hour. Rogan mentioned on X, “for the record the Harris campaign has not passed on doing the podcast,” adding, “They offered a date for Tuesday…but I would have had to travel to her, and they only wanted to do an hour.” He emphasized his preference, stating, “The best way to do it is in the studio in Austin.”

The Harris campaign, however, has clarified their position. Campaign spokesperson Ian Sams told MSNBC last week that while they had “talked with Rogan and his team about the podcast,” scheduling conflicts prevented Harris from appearing. “The vice president is happy to go anywhere and any place to talk to a broad segment of the country,” Sams noted, though he confirmed that, for now, the interview would not happen.

Elon Musk, who shared Rogan’s X post, endorsed the idea, commenting, “I would definitely watch that podcast.” YouTube faced issues displaying Rogan’s interview with Trump on Oct. 25, as searches for the episode weren’t yielding prominent results, according to the platform. Rogan posted the full episode on X, explaining that “there’s an issue with searching for this episode on YouTube,” and YouTube confirmed it was “working to resolve this.” With Rogan still hopeful about a Harris interview, the potential conversation could offer viewers a broad political perspective as the election campaign season heats up.
