Taylor Swift brought her Eras Tour to New Orleans with three celebrated performances at Caesars Superdome, marking her final stops before the U.S. tour concludes.
The sold-out shows featured a surprise appearance from fellow pop artist Sabrina Carpenter on the second night, an addition Swift described as a highlight of her time in New Orleans. “She had one day off from her exhaustive tour schedule… she could’ve been resting,” Swift noted on Instagram, calling Carpenter “the pop princess of our dreams” and commending her dedication to creating memorable fan moments.
The surprise duet combined Carpenter’s “Espresso” and “Please Please Please” with Swift’s own “Is It Over Now?” from 1989 (Taylor’s Version). The night featured an array of Swiftie-themed celebrations, with fans donning custom friendship bracelets and outfits and local businesses hosting “Eras”-themed events. Swift expressed gratitude toward the city, writing, “I’m still smiling thinking about that wonderful weekend. The city really welcomed us with open arms… and celebrated the tour with such flair.” Her heartfelt post reflected the enthusiastic reception she received from local fans and businesses.
Swift’s visit to New Orleans was more than a performance, with her presence anticipated to bring approximately $500 million to the local economy. She also donated to a Louisiana food bank, funding 75,000 meals for those in need, solidifying her impact beyond music. The Eras Tour now heads to its final U.S. destination in Indianapolis this weekend.
