Rapper 6ix9ine, born Daniel Hernandez, is again in legal trouble following his reported failure to comply with supervised release conditions.
Arrested on October 29, Hernandez’s violations include testing positive for methamphetamine, missing a mandatory drug test, and traveling to Las Vegas without permission. During a New York court appearance, he reportedly claimed the positive test resulted from Adderall use, explaining, “Adderall has meth in it. It’s just a mistake”
Court documents reveal Hernandez allegedly missed his scheduled drug test and was detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center. The violation, compounded by his trip to Las Vegas on September 7, sparked his immediate arrest. Prosecutors argued these actions violated his probation, stemming from his 2018 federal charges related to his association with the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.
Hernandez has had past issues with the law, including domestic violence charges in the Dominican Republic and an international warrant from August. Scheduled to return to court on November 12, he faces an evidentiary hearing where he can address these recent allegations and appeal for compliance leniency. Until then, he remains in custody, awaiting further legal actions
