Tissue factory fire burns through millions

PESHAWAR:

A fire at a tissue paper factory in the Hayatabad Industrial Estate caused millions of rupees in damages within moments.

After the fire broke out, Rescue 1122 teams and the fire brigade were called in, with around 100 firefighters engaged in the rescue operation. After a seven-hour struggle, the massive blaze was finally brought under control.

According to the Rescue spokesperson, machinery and teams were called in.
