Former One Direction star Liam Payne's tragic death has left fans and loved ones heartbroken worldwide. Payne, 31, passed away after a fatal fall from the balcony of his hotel room in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 16, 2024. Reports indicate that his funeral will take place in November, as his body is expected to remain in Argentina for 10 to 15 days while forensic experts conduct toxicology tests.

A partial toxicology report following the death of former One Direction singer Liam Payne revealed that he had multiple substances in his system, including a dangerous drug known as "pink cocaine."

Pink cocaine, also known as "tusi," is a designer drug that has gained popularity in the United States after first emerging in Latin America and Europe. Despite its name, pink cocaine is rarely made with actual cocaine. Instead, it is a mix of illegal substances, including ketamine, MDMA (ecstasy), methamphetamine, and opioids, among other psychoactive substances. It is typically dyed pink with food coloring, giving the drug its distinctive appearance.

The autopsy confirmed that Payne succumbed to internal and external injuries from the fall. His body will be returned to his hometown of Wolverhampton, UK, where family and friends plan to lay him to rest. Liam’s father, Geoff Payne, is currently in Argentina and has been visiting a memorial site near the hotel where the tragic accident occurred. Geoff plans to accompany his son’s body back to the UK, with efforts being made to ensure minimal delays during the transport.

As Payne’s loved ones await the completion of formal procedures, tributes continue to pour in from fans and his former One Direction bandmates, honoring his life and career.
