Liam Payne's ex Danielle Peazer reveals he reached out before his tragic death
Liam Payne's girlfriend, Danielle Peazer, has shared a touching tribute to the singer, revealing he reached out to her just weeks before his tragic passing at the age of 31.
The One Direction member fell 45 feet from the third floor into the courtyard of the Casa Sur Hotel in Buenos Aires on Wednesday, sparking tributes from fans and celebrities alike.
Earlier this week, Danielle, who was in an on-and-off relationship with Liam from 2010 to 2012, mentioned that she was 'not mentally strong enough' to cope with his loss. She has now returned to social media to post a heartfelt message along with several photos of them together.
Danielle shared that Liam had recently contacted her to express his joy for her after she found happiness with her partner Sonny and welcomed their daughter Mia, noting that she would 'always cherish' his kindness.
She wrote: 'Whilst we all take the time to navigate in a world without Liam, it's important to remember that while he was adored by millions as a world famous musician for the last decade, he was also someone's son and brother for more than 30 years, a friend to so many and more recently an uncle.'
She continued by stating that his most significant role, and the one he was most proud of, was being a father.
She added: 'The thought that there is now a child growing up without one of their parents is heartbreaking and unfair.'
Danielle also expressed her support for Liam's son Bear, his parents, and sisters, sending them her love and strength, calling the loss incomprehensible. She promised to continue offering support in any way she could.
Before concluding: 'Thank you for teaching me about the importance of setting boundaries, and that I should always protect my heart.'
Danielle reflected on a recent message from Liam where he expressed happiness for the love she had found with her partner Sonny and daughter Mia, a sentiment she will treasure.
On Saturday, she explained that she had taken a few days to process the news of his death, writing: 'In time I will share more, but right now I don't feel mentally strong enough to face the reality of what's happened.'
Danielle also mentioned that the last few days had been even harder due to negative comments from online trolls, describing it as a 'heartbreaking time.' She emphasized her need for privacy as she mourns.
