Future is once again the subject of intense social media discussions after liking a tweet from rapper Young Thug, who tried to act as a peacemaker between Future, Drake, and Metro Boomin.

On October 19, 2024, Young Thug, currently incarcerated, tweeted from jail: "Music wouldn't be the same without their collaboration," tagging Future, Drake, and Metro Boomin. Although Future didn’t directly reply, his retweet of the message sparked a wave of reactions online.

One social media user voiced their opinion, saying, "He’s embarrassing. He wants another hit so bad."

This comment echoed the sentiment of many fans who believe Future is looking to reignite his chart-topping collaborations with Drake. Another fan commented, "Future needs that new hit single again."

While some users seemed supportive of the potential reunion, others were less enthusiastic. One fan wrote, "I hope Drake don’t work with none of these guys ever again," while another commented, "I doubt we ever hear Drake on a Metro beat again."

The discussions also brought up unresolved feuds in the hip-hop world, with one person stating, "Someone tell Young Thug to make peace with Gunna as well."

Meanwhile, Drake has shown public support for Young Thug during his ongoing legal battles. Recently, he posted a photo of himself wearing clothing from Thugger’s Sp5der brand and hinted at providing financial aid for the rapper. In his Instagram story, Drake wrote, "I ain’t talking to talk man I really put up [money] on the [briefcase] for Jeff."

Young Thug has been incarcerated since May 2022, as he faces charges related to the YSL RICO trial, which has now become Georgia's longest criminal trial.

Despite his legal troubles, Thug’s attempts to broker peace between Future and Drake have fans wondering if the three artists will reconcile and collaborate once again.
