Maxim magazine has officially endorsed Donald Trump for the 2024 U.S. presidential election, announcing the decision in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday.

The post, which has garnered over 105,000 likes, simply stated, "Maxim endorses Donald J. Trump for President." The magazine has yet to provide further details on the rationale behind the endorsement.

The endorsement follows a social media poll conducted by Maxim on October 15, where users were asked to choose between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. Of the 2,100 votes submitted, 59.1% favored Trump, while 40.9% preferred Harris. Two days after the poll, Maxim made their support for Trump official.

Reactions to the post have been mixed, with both supporters and critics of Trump engaging with the announcement. Maxim, an international men's magazine known for its photography of actors, singers, and models, has a circulation of approximately 9 million readers monthly.

Though now primarily a digital publication, Maxim still produces bi-monthly print copies for subscribers and reaches over 4 million unique viewers digitally each month. Founded in the United Kingdom in 1995, Maxim has since become a major publication in 75 countries worldwide.
